Candidate E-newsletter - First Quarter 2012
You’ve received this Center for Clergy Excellence Candidate E-Newsletter because you are a candidate, seminary student, or summer intern, or because we heard you might be interested in ordained or licensed ministry in the Texas Annual Conference of the
2012 Candidacy Summit
What is Candidacy Summit? The Candidacy Summit is a multi-day event during which everyone entering candidacy in the Texas Annual Conference receives accurate information about the entire candidacy process; new candidates begin meeting together in small groups with trained Mentors and have opportunities to worship, share their call stories, meet District Superintendents and other supporters, and take required psychological tests. Applications for the July 26-28, 2012 Candidacy Summit will be accepted through June 1, 2012. The application must be signed by the candidate’s District Superintendent and accompanied by a $100 check or money order to help cover the cost of the psychological testing. For a Candidacy Summit application, click here.
