Pre-Retirement Seminar

Are you clergy age 55+ and have questions or concerns regarding retirement planning? Now is an appropriate time to give these issues serious consideration. We would like to assist you in this regard by inviting you and your spouse to attend a Pre-Retirement Seminar sponsored by the Texas Annual Conference Board of Pensions.

The Clergy Pre-Retirement Seminar will be held at Lakeview Methodist Conference Center, beginning with check-in at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 and concluding with lunch on Thursday, November 10.

There will be presentations by the General Board of Pensions, Ernst & Young, the Social Security Administration, and tax and financial advisors. There will be time for questions, inspiration and relaxation. See the Clergy Pre-Retirement Seminar Agenda.

Your registration form and check for payment are due by Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Please meet this deadline as a list of participants must be provided to the General Board of Pensions in advance in order to provide you with your personal pension projections.

Also, please bring your most recent Social Security Earnings and Estimated Benefits Statement with you to the seminar.
